"We are called to uphold our values and upheave injustice.”
We invite Iowa college students to join Iowa Interfaith Power & Light and our virtual host college, Central College, for our Called to Climate Action student leadership training on September 17 from 11am-1pm. This is a free training.
Our annual interfaith student leadership program promotes climate awareness, action, and leadership among students across Iowa campuses. This year’s iteration will include an online student leadership training on September 17 to start a five-week campus project. To wrap up the five-week campus projects we have another online, statewide, virtual public event on October 24. In between, we are asking Iowa college students to organize at least one, faith-based action for climate justice on their campus.
We recommend that Iowa college students register individually as there will be breakout room discussions. If you choose to watch with a group, please do so responsibly with masks on and social distancing.
